The Shibby

I have been hanging out in Busan, South Korea for the better part of a year. In that time I have experienced a whole lot of craziness...

Some Words of Wisdom

I've got a smile on my face, I've got four walls around me. The sun in the sky, the water surrounds me. I'll win now but sometimes I'll lose. I've been battered, but I'll never bruise, it's not so bad. And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day, and it's all your state of mind. At the end of the day, you've still got to say, it's all right.

Over the past few months I have experimented with several ideas and designs for this blog but as is with most of my work, it has fallen victim to procrastination. So now, as I sit here staring vacantly at my new blogspot journal I begin to reminisce on the olden days where web design was reserved for geeky teenagers and unemployable 40-year old nerds (the former being much like myself). So please, I beg you not to judge my disregard for a unique web-blog design as an insult but rather as nothing more than laziness. Laziness that has been facilitated by the evolution of human accessibility to the internet and the increasing ease of its various outlets.

Apologies all around.

AH HA... So this was the post that was directed towards me eh? It's okay that you didn't design the site, as a master of media production student, it is my everyday business to discuss new ways of accessibility on the internet and the ease that people may now communicate. I understand the toils of web-building, and chances are, this site will have more search hits anyways.

Thank you for adding your voice to the internet waves. We are lucky that we were born into a generation where we don't pay 50 cents-a-word for a telegraph message anymore. I feel privileged to receive your words for free/at all. Keep on blogging on this neat, well organized, cleanly coded, cookie-cutter site... with my blessings.
