The Shibby

I have been hanging out in Busan, South Korea for the better part of a year. In that time I have experienced a whole lot of craziness...

Some Words of Wisdom

I've got a smile on my face, I've got four walls around me. The sun in the sky, the water surrounds me. I'll win now but sometimes I'll lose. I've been battered, but I'll never bruise, it's not so bad. And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day, and it's all your state of mind. At the end of the day, you've still got to say, it's all right.

Today is Parent's day in Korea. From what I understand it is a combination of Mother's day and Father's day. So I thought I would take the opportunity to extend my deepest gratitude because without you none of us would be here. As for my parents, I hope you have a great Friday and enjoy your weekend, I love you guys.

Oh and Mom, if I miss giving you a mother's day call I probably will not have a good reason, so go easy on me haha.

I really don't know what I was thinking when I took this photo. But when there are eight other Koreans sitting around I tend to get nervous that their desire to be in and around photos might come to life in a violent and devastating way. Either way, Happy Parent's Day!
