The Shibby

I have been hanging out in Busan, South Korea for the better part of a year. In that time I have experienced a whole lot of craziness...

Some Words of Wisdom

I've got a smile on my face, I've got four walls around me. The sun in the sky, the water surrounds me. I'll win now but sometimes I'll lose. I've been battered, but I'll never bruise, it's not so bad. And I say way-hey-hey, it's just an ordinary day, and it's all your state of mind. At the end of the day, you've still got to say, it's all right.

I haven't been up to a whole lot lately, more or less just the same old song and dance. I have been keeping busy with work and social things and just doing my best to get from week to week. Over this past week I have spent some time up at Busan National University, checking out the art and music scene- two things that I did not know existed until now. I suppose I have Jenny to thank for that, she's really cool and into that whole indie-art culture. Also, my father is coming to visit at the end of July and I am really excited for that. I am not entirely sure what we have planned but I am sure it will be a lot of fun and I know that he will enjoy himself. This weekend the gang and I will be participating in a rafting race that has fairly substantial first, second and third place prizes. Our team, the Raging Rafters stands to do quite well I think. Supposing we loose, however unlikely, we will still have a great day on the beach. Anyhow, that about covers everything that has happened in the last three weeks.
